The SOREX LED-Flashlight is the successor to the p-240 model. The SOREX optic composed from a mineral glass and is therefore extremely resistant to damage, for example, scratching. The Torch is equipped with a high performance LED chip Cree 7090 XR-E, at present one of the brightest chips on the LED market. The SOREX is controlled by a 750mA chip. All in all, this flashlight for it's size, is one of the most powerful on the market. The casing is molded from CNC aluminium and hard chrome. Special O-ring washers seal the joining parts, which allows the torch to function even in the wettest conditions. In addition the SOREX can be attached to a bunch of keys. Operating with customary CR123A lithium cell batteries allows for a maximum brightness of 60 minutes and 9 full hours in continuous use. Rechargeable batteries are also an option. We recommend from our accessories Article Number:600. The Torch can be turned 'on-and off' simply by twisting the head of the lamp.

 

Comment

With our Article Number:700 (Rechargeable Batteries) the light last longer than with customary batteries. The disadvantage with Art. Nr:700 however is the temperature, the casing tends to get very hot after 10 minutes in use compared to normal batteries. Please take this in to consideration when purchasing Lohenstein rechargeable batteries. For the Torch, due to it's size and the lighting capacity, is designed as a key ring accessory and not especially for long term use.
